An established vocalist who excelled with slower, soothing vocals, and versatile enough to pack plenty of punch as a pianist, composer and lyricist – Jaffer Zaidi started out very young, being the son of legendary Nayyara Noor. Popularly known as the lead vocalist of his band, ‘Kaavish’ – Jaffer has been closely associated with music production. His first mainstream venture was for PTV National Awards (2003), where he produced four mimes for a performance. He has also become an in demand producer for a wide array of artists, while playing a key role in the houseband for Coke Studio since Season 7.

With over a dozen advertisement jingles, along with several OSTs and background music for television serials, he also had the opportunity to produce the music and songs for the Sesame Street collaboration with Pakistan. In Coke Studio, Season 9, Jaffer Zaidi arrives as one of the music directors of the season.
